Hobbies/ Interests: I enjoy cooking, exercising, and reading in my free time. I am also a fan of baseball and Formula 1 racing and try to follow these sports as much as my schedule permits.
Why Stony Brook? Stony Brook was my first interview last year, and the program left an incredible impression upon me. It felt like a place where I could fit in well, find my niche, and develop my talents with a like-minded group of co-residents. Now that I have been working at Stony Brook for several months, I can attest that the program has lived up to the expectations I had for it. We have fantastic support from senior residents, chief residents, and program leadership. Equally important is the quality of education on the floors and the breadth of patient problems encountered. In my opinion, Stony Brook is a very well rounded program with many opportunities for its residents.
