Why Stony Brook: Having grown up in New York, I was always aware of Stony Brook’s reputation for innovative medical research and excellence in the sciences. Its hospital, I have found, is no exception. The program focuses on teaching their residents evidence-based medicine in a supportive and collaborative learning environment under the guidance of Dr. Lane’s commitment to mentorship and education. I am thrilled to have found a professional home here for the next three years and look forward to growing alongside my wonderful group of co-residents.
