Why Stony Brook? I really wanted to match into a program that offered an excellent academic experience. My interview not only solidified that Stony Brook has just that, but showed me how pleasant everyone was. From nursing, to house staff, co-residents and attendings, everyone seemed genuinely pleasant to work with, enthusiastic and supportive. So far into residency, all that has rung true and I couldn’t be happier. Easy access to Long Island Beaches were also a huge selling point.
