Why Stony Brook? Having attended Stony Brook University for undergrad, I knew the vast resources and well-rounded training available at Stony Brook Medicine, being one of the renowned academic institutes in NY. The emphasis on resident well-being and camaraderie among residents was very apparent during my interview. Despite being all virtual, the caring nature and dedication of Dr. Lane were displayed throughout the interview. The last few months have reassured me that I made the right decision. I feel fortunate to be surrounded by truly special people and I am looking forward to growing professionally here!
