Why Stony Brook?: I chose Stony Brook because of its welcoming, supportive, and friendly culture. I had some of the best years when I went to college here because of the people, opportunities, resources, and atmosphere, and so I was confident that the training I would receive here as a resident would be both strong and enjoyable. Its location was also ideal for me, considering its proximity to my family in Floral Park as well as both the city and the suburbs.
