Hometown: Brooklyn, NY
Undergraduate school: Stony Brook University
Medical school: Albany Medical College
Hobbies/Interests: During my little spare time in residency, I like to spend it with my wife and my daughter.
Why Stony Brook: While working as a researcher at Columbia University Medical Center, I worked with a number of excellent neurologists and I fell in love with clinical neurology. I completed my medical school training at Albany Medical College and one of my first interviews was Stony Brook’s neurology program. It was a very nostalgic feeling to be back and the whole interview day just felt right. Stony Brook offers me a large academic program comparable to city programs, close enough to the city so I can visit but far enough so I can cultivate my own life with my family.
