Why Stony Brook?: When I was applying for residencies, I wanted a program that values teaching and feels welcoming. A current resident I spoke with couldn’t say enough great things about Stony Brook and how supportive the community is. On my interview day, Dr. Ng emphasized the program’s strong focus on teaching, and I knew this was the right fit. Since starting, everything I hoped for has come true—I’ve felt supported every step of the way and have met so many wonderful people. Now that I’m exploring fellowship options, I feel confident that with the opportunities and mentorship here, I’ll have all the guidance I need to succeed.
