Hobbies/Interests: I am such a foodie - I love checking out new, aesthetic restaurants, wineries, and bars. I also love to binge crime dramas, roller skate, and travel/explore local towns and countries.
Why Stony Brook?: I chose Stony Brook for its supportive culture and strong camaraderie among residents, which was clear on my interview day. The program was also appealing to me for its exposure to diverse patient populations (VA and Stony Brook UH) and multiple practice settings. And lastly, I was drawn to the program’s robust cardiology department and the faculty’s dedication to mentorship, which would create an ideal environment for me to grow and thrive as a physician.
