Why Stony Brook: My initial impression of Stony Brook on my interview day was that the faculty and staff were genuinely invested in our education and overall residency experience. Now, entering my third year, I can confidently say that impression was accurate. The internal medicine program offers strong clinical training that has allowed me to grow as a clinician. It also provides meaningful exposure to subspecialties, regular interaction with subspecialists and fellows, and involvement in research that has helped shape my career path"
