Why Stony Brook: I was born and raised on Long Island, so Stony Brook was always familiar to me. When researching programs, Stony Brook checked all the boxes. At a large academic institution, I knew I’d be exposed to interesting cases and would be able to learn from exceptional faculty. However, my favorite part about Stony Brook is the supportive culture. Everyone is committed to learning together, and help is always offered.
