Congratulations to Dr. Brian Sheridan for his promotion to Associate Professor! A research team led by Dr. Pawan Kumar has discovered a novel role for IL-17A in the development of secretory cells in the intestine and mitigation of inflammation in the bowel. These findings were published in the journal Immunity. Dr. Carol Carter, Professor of Microbiology & Immunology, is elected to Fellowship in the American Academy of Microbiology in recognition of her many contributions to the field. |
