Research Interests |
Alex received a Bachelor of Science degree from Providence College where he investigated amyloid-beta plaques and their role in Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis. He also spent time using genomics to study how predatory bacteria could be used as a natural biocontrol for antibiotic resistant bacteria. His current research interests involve exploring ways to manipulate the immune system to combat disease and epigenetic modulation of gene expression. |
