"I am very pleased to announce that Jeanine Carnival, NP has been appointed to a full-time faculty position in the School of Medicine at the rank of Clinical Instructor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology. She will work as healthcare provider in our Endocrinology and Diabetes Clinic. Jeanine has already a long-standing and distinguished professional track record in the in-patient settings of SBU Medical Center, where she has worked as RN first and then Nurse Specialist since 2011
She graduated, magna cum laude, from the SBU School of Nursing in 2011 and then obtained a post-Master’s Degree in Advanced Practice Program for Adult Gerontology in 2018. She has served as inpatient Nurse Specialist in the high acuity Medicine-telemetry Unit of SBUH for the past 3 years, providing leadership, education and support to both patients and members of the nursing team. Now she is ready to use her experience and skills to embark in yet another professional endeavor as healthcare provider in our busy Endocrine/Diabetes Clinic.
