Dear Members of the Department of Medicine:
It is with great pleasure to announce Dr. Neha Sanan has been recruited as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine for the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology, Department of Medicine, Stony Brook University.
Dr. Sanan earned her DO at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. Her postgraduate training includes residency training in Saint Vincent Hospital in Worchester Massachusetts from 2016 to 2018 and Allergy/Immunology Fellowship training at Cleveland Hospital from July 2018 to June 2020. She began her career in Philadelphia in October 2020 seeing both pediatric and adult allergy patients. She then continued as an assistant professor at Carilion Clinic Virginia Tech School of Medicine from January 2023 to September 2025.
Dr. Sanan has been actively involved in various scholarly activities with publications and awards.
Dr. Sanan will be a great addition to the Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology, Department of Medicine. Her joining in Stony Brook University will provide more opportunities for trainees to expose themselves to the knowledge and skills related to allergy and immunology.
