The Department of Medicine is pleased to announce the promotion of Patricia Ng, M.D., FACP, to Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine in the Renaissance School of Medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Dr. Ng is a prominent faculty member in the Division of General, Geriatrics and Hospital Medicine and is an outpatient General Internist at the Stony Brook Primary Care Center. She currently serves as the Primary Care Track Director and Associate Program Director of Stony Brook’s Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Prior to joining the faculty in 2016, Dr. Ng received her undergraduate and medical degrees at Stony Brook University. She completed her General Internal Medicine residency training at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital and was a chief medical resident from 2015-2016.
She is a member of Stony Brook’s Miriam and David Donohue Academy of Clinical and Educational Scholars (ACES) and currently serves as the co-chair for the Primary Care Track Directors committee for the Alliance of Academic Internal Medicine (AAIM) and Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM). Dr. Ng’s scholarly interests include innovations in ambulatory education, women’s health, resident financial wellness, and telehealth education.
