Brandon Ng, MD Assistant Professor of Medicine |
Dr. Ng is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook and an academic hospitalist for Stony Brook University Hospital. He currently serves as an Associate Program Director of Stony Brook’s Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Ng received his undergraduate degree in economics from Cornell University and worked as a financial analyst in New York City prior to pursuing medicine. He received his medical education from St. George’s University where he graduated summa cum laude. He then completed his internal medicine residency training at Stony Brook University and was appointed to serve as a Chief Medical Resident. He officially joined the Stony Brook Department of Medicine faculty in August 2022.
Dr. Ng is passionate about resident financial planning and his scholarly interests include medical education in the inpatient setting, clinical and diagnostic reasoning, and patient safety and quality improvement.
