Appointment and Promotion

Appointments to the graduate training program in Obstetrics and Gynecology are made annually for the academic year beginning July 1st and ending June 30th.  Appointments at the first year level (PGY-1) carry the assurance of annual reappointment in the progressive program provided that performance and development have been satisfactory.

  3. Paid subscriptions to CoreCases, TrueLearn and Challenger (Online Curriculum Resources)
  4. NRP certification and 1 recertification
  5. Fetal heart rate training certification
  6. Registration for ABOG qualifying boards
  7. Travel expenses to qualifying conferences related to the presentation of scholarly activity
  8. CREOG resident leadership workshop for rising PGY-4s: registration fee and travel expenses
  9. Time off to attend an approved Qualifying Exam prep course
