Dr. Balakrishnan received his Bachelor of Pharmacy from Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, India and his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Yeungnam University, South Korea. During his postdoctoral study at Seoul National University, he investigated the multidrug resistance and antitumor effect of docetaxle nanoparticles and developed several formulations for hydrophobic drugs. He has also served as a Senior Scientist for Utah-Inha DDS and the Advanced Therapeutic Research Center in South Korea.

Dr. Balakrishnan is currently working on the development of novel nano-formulations for the topical delivery of our novel drugs and assessment of their PK, efficacy and safety.
