Good Shepherd Hospice

We are one of the largest hospice programs on Long Island caring for up to 400 patients every day. While a majority of these individuals choose to stay in their home, the Hospice Inpatient Center can provide a safe haven for those that face challenging end-of-life issues. We have two Inpatient centers located on the campus of St Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson and another on the second floor of Mercy Medical Center in Rockville Centre. At Good Shepherd Hospice we frequently deliver hospice care in a patient’s home, skilled nursing facility or assisted living in partnership with family and other caregivers.
