Opportunities for Visiting Students
Stony Brook Children's strives to create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment in which visiting students are welcomed as integral members of the care team. We are pleased that you are considering a visiting rotation with our department and are interested in learning more about the opportunities available to visiting students. With close guidance from faculty, residents, and fellows, along with diverse clinical experiences and a collaborative culture, we aim to support your development as a clinician while you explore your interests in pediatrics.
In recent years, we have successfully offered spots on the following rotations to visiting medical students:
- Pediatric Cardiology
- Pediatric Hospitalist Medicine
- Pediatric Infectious Diseases
- Pediatric Pulmonology
