*Based on guidance from the Association of Pediatric Program Directors, we will be waiting to send out any further invitations until 10/10/24 to give Program Directors time to review applications holistically.*
In accordance with the decision of Pediatric Residency Programs nationally and the decision of our institution, Stony Brook Children's will conduct virtual interviews for the 2024-2025 application cycle. Although you will not be able to come meet us in person, and we realize this is not ideal, we look forward to getting to know you through our interactive Thalamus interview day!
The interview season begins in early November and ends mid-January. Interview dates book very quickly, so responding to your invitation to interview as soon as possible will help ensure you get a date that will work with your schedule.
We have a wonderful interview schedule planned, starting with the evening before your interview day. Our goal is to help you get a true feeling of our program, spend time with the program director, meet our residents and faculty, and "tour" our facilities. Our Resident Recruitment Committee has planned a casual/fun evening Resident Social to help you feel more comfortable the night before your interview. This is will also provide you the opportunity to get to know our amazing residents.
