*For the 2023-2024 application season, in accordance with the Association of Pediatric Program Directors, we will not be sending any interview invites until Tuesday, 10/10. This will give our Program Director the opportunity to holistically review every application. Thank you for your patience and understanding.*
In accordance with the decision of Pediatric Residency Programs nationally and the decision of our institution, Stony Brook Children's will conduct virtual interviews for the 2022-2023 application cycle. Although you will not be able to come meet us in person, and we realize this is not ideal, we look forward to getting to know you through our interactive Zoom interview day!
The interview season begins in early November and ends mid-January. Interview dates book very quickly, so responding to your invitation to interview as soon as possible will help ensure you get a date that will work with your schedule.
We have a wonderful interview schedule planned, starting with the evening before your interview day. Our goal is to help you get a true feeling of our program, spend time with the program director, meet our residents and faculty, and "tour" our facilities. Our Resident Recruitment Committee has planned a casual/fun evening Resident Social to help you feel more comfortable the night before your interview. This is will also provide you the opportunity to get to know our amazing residents.

Pediatric Residency Applications are accepted through ERAS only. The Program Director reviews all applications.

If you are selected to interview, you will receive an e-mail invitation from the Residency Coordinator with specific dates and instructions on how to schedule your interview.
