Imran Chaudhri, MD |
Dr. Imran Chaudhri is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook. He is the Associate Program Director of Internal Medicine Residency Scholarship Oversight Program.
Dr. Chaudhri earned his B.S. at Union College, M.B.A. from Union Graduate College/Clarkson University and M.D from Albany Medical Center. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at Stony Brook from 2018-2021 and was a Chief Resident from 2021-2022. He joined the Stony Brook faculty in 2024 following his Nephrology Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where he also completed a medical education fellowship. His research interests include how genetics play a role in the development of chronic kidney disease and studying the implementation of new curricula for renal fellows and medical residents.
