Sneha Shrivastava, MD, MSEd, MSCP Visiting Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine Associate Program Director, Primary Care Track Director Division of General, Geriatrics and Hospital Medicine |
Dr. Shrivastava is a Visiting Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook. She is the Primary Care Track Director and Associate Program Director at the Internal Medicine residency program. She is also a practicing outpatient General Internist, a clinic preceptor for residents, and a Menopause Society certified practitioner.
Dr. Shrivastava's educational background includes a General Internal Medicine fellowship and a master's in medical education from the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra, Northwell. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and earned her medical degree from St. George’s University. Her undergraduate studies were completed at York University in Toronto.
Before joining the Stony Brook faculty in 2025, Dr. Shrivastava was the Associate Program Director and the Director of women's health education for the Internal Medicine residency program at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Dr. Shrivastava's scholarly work focuses on medical education, curriculum development, and women’s health. She currently serves as the co-chair for the Career Advising Program at the Society of General Internal Medicine (SGIM) and is the Secretary and co-chair for SGIM’s Mid-Atlantic Region.
