Welcome to the Stony Brook Internal Medicine Curriculum!
Our curriculum is developed with a longitudinal view of your education during training, helping you develop into a well-rounded internist with the knowledge and skills to care, teach, investigate, and innovate. Our overarching themes include Social Justice and Health Equity, Teaching and Medical Education, Patient Safety and Quality Improvement, Scholarship and Inquiry, Professional Identity Formation, Communication, and additional special topics in clinical education including POCUS, simulation, women’s health, and telehealth.
